Hanjin to swap intra-Asia space with KMTC, STX Pan Ocean    Seoul-based Hanjin Shipping will later this month enter into slot swap agreements in the intra-Asia trade with Korea Marine Transportation Co. Ltd. (KMTC) and STX Pan Ocean.
   Hanjin will on Sept. 9 join KMTC’s Korea-Malaysia Service (KMS) that calls at Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Port Kelang, Singapore, Pasir Gudang, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ulsan and Busan.
   Effective Sept. 25, Hanjin will take slots on the New Malaysia Service (NMS) operated by STX Pan Ocean, which has a port rotation of Busan, Incheon, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Port Kelang, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Busan.
   In exchange, Hanjin will offer both carriers space on its New Hochiminh Service (NHS) and Japan Indonesia Express Service (JIX). Hanjin will at the same time end its Indonesia Malaysia Service (IMS).
