X-Press ends slot charter on MOL’s NCX

   The liner shipping company X-Press Feeders has ended its slot charter agreement with Mitsui O.S.K. Line on the latter’s weekly NCX service between Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.  
   The service operates with five vessels, three from MOL and one each from partners Orient Overseas Container Line and Samudera Shipping Line, averaging 3,407 TEUs, but will skip one sailing position on Jan. 29.  
   The rotation of the NCX remains Ningbo, Shanghai, Da Chan Bay, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Cochin, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Ningbo.  
   X-Press provides one vessel on the China/Hong Kong/Singapore to India/Sri Lanka service RKI, operated jointly with RCL, Wan Hai, and Hamburg Süd. Additionally, X-Press takes slots on two other loops that call Colombo and Nhava Sheva from China/Hong Kong/Southeast Asia, the CIX, operated by Wan Hai, Evergreen, and Hapag-Lloyd, and the WIN, operated by NYK, Evergreen, and Hanjin. — ComPair Data, Ben Meyer
