Hong, who has been FIATA treasurer since 2007, will serve a two-year term. He was elected a FIATA vice president in 1995 and a senior vice president in 2001.
In addition to Hong, FIATA board members include: immediate past president Jean-Claude Delen (Belgium), treasurer William Gottlieb (Canada), secretary general Heiner Rogge (Germany), and the three senior vice presidents Francesco Parisi (Italy), Suwit Ratanachinda (Thailand) and Babar Badat (Pakistan).
