FMC reviews 12 OTI applications, revokes 8 licenses The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 12 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Kingsmart Express Container, Monterey Park, Calif. (Yaohang Chen, chief executive officer); America First International, Miami (Mario Andres Morales, president); World Express Co. Ltd., Port Louis, Mauritius (Ken Fa Lam Wing Cheong, country manager); and King Solomon’s Services, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Orin Blackman, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Planes Moving & Storage, West Chester, Ohio (Jimmy Huff, vice president of operations); Opus-One Cargo Corp., Miami (John Sevilla, president); United Logistics of America, Bensenville, Ill. (Ju Wen Li, sole proprietor); and AICS, Hawthorne, Calif. (Rene S. Ramirez, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Ultimate Logistics, Pembroke Park, Fla. (Evelyn Balan, president); Wessex Cargo, Torrance, Calif. (Paul Victor Iles, president); Millennium Maritime Shipping, Frisco, Texas (Shaadi Momani, president); and Early Bird Pick Up and Delivery, Bridgeport, Conn. (Junior Hart, manager).

   The FMC revoked eight OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms are Associated Consolidators Express, Hayward, Calif.; B.R.A.L. Miami, Miami; Continental Consolidating Corp., Miami; Midwest Freight, Dayton, Ohio; Professional Cargo Services International, San Francisco; R&F Rolapp Enterprises, Gardena, Calif.; Sage Freight Systems, Jamaica, N.Y.; and Sun Ocean Express Co., Los Angeles.
