Cyberfreight to use INTTRA    Ocean freight e-commerce portal INTTRA said Tuesday that Canadian transportation and logistics management company Cyberfreight Systems has begun using INTTRA for the submission of bookings and to draft bill of lading instructions to multiple carriers via a single platform.
   'Cyberfreight and its carrier partners will benefit from a reduction in parallel manual processes, or rekeying of data, and improved data accuracy, as well as a faster, more streamlined business process,' INTTRA said in a statement.
   INTTRA said it initiates nearly 300,000 container orders per week, representing more than 10 percent of global ocean container trade.
   “Submitting draft bill of lading instructions via INTTRA considerably reduces the fees associated with manual submission, such as liner charges and fax or messenger, resulting in significant cost savings,' said Jean-Paul Gobeil, director of international markets for Cyberfreight. 'We estimate that shipment processing time will be reduced by 15 to 20 percent, which will translate into significant cost savings.”
