FMC reviews 13 OTI applications, revokes five licenses    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission will review 13 ocean transportation intermediary license applications.
   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Universal Container Trade, Cerritos, Calif. (Kwanju Eah Lee, president); Global Alliance Logistics (DFW), Irving, Texas (Kam L. Ng, president); Torision Freight, Belleville, N.J. (Aric Sing Y. Yan, president); Nanix Express, Bensenville, Ill. (Felix Charn Wah Wong, president); Freightcan, Jamaica, N.Y. (Chandru Gurnani, president); ATX International, Limito Di Pioltello, Italy (Ussi Gianroberto, president); and AERO DOC, Miami (German Walter Muller, president).
   The FMC received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Pacific Package, Houston (Ayo George Oreyomi, sole proprietor); Classic Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Evan Perroncino, president); and EDU Support Services, Shelton, Conn. (James Carl Urso, managing member).
   The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from A&A Alpha Shipping, Landover Hills, Md. (Adebisi M. Akinshade, president); ASC Miami Corp., Medley, Fla. (Maria Del Pilar Torres, president); and ProLog International Freight Forwarders, Houston (James L. Elkins, president).

   The FMC revoked five OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds: Bestway Shipping of Gardena, Calif.; Distribution Transportation Services Co. of O’Fallon, Mo.; JB Han Co. in Carson, Calif.; Ram’s Cargo Brokers of    Miami; and Worldwide Group in Gardena, Calif.
