The new HS4 service, operated by Orient Overseas Container Lines as “KTX3,” will link Japan-Taiwan-Hong Kong-Jakarta, and will offer the direct link between Nagoya/Kobe/Keelung and Jakarta, and from Jakarta to Tokyo/Nagoya.
The addition to the HS3 service “will help maintain competitive transit times from Japan to Jakarta by transshipment to this dedicated feeder service and reduce the risk of accumulated delays at ports,” according to the release. MOL is also adding a call to Shekou on the northbound rotation of HS3.
