LUFTHANSA ADDS TO TIME-DEFINITE SERVICES    Lufthansa Cargo, the world's largest international air freight carrier, will launch in April a suite of time-definite air freight services targeting specific industries.
   Lufthansa has offered tailored services to shippers of high value goods, such as jewels and bank notes, under the name Safe/td1 since February. It will add a Safe/td2 service for shippers of telecommunications and computer goods, offering theft-proof containers and special handling.
   Lufthansa will target pharmaceutical shippers with a Cool/td service, offering temperature-constant shipping with specially-designed refrigerated air freight containers.
   Fresh/td has been designed to offer dedicated service to shippers of flowers, vegetables, fruit, fish or meat.
   In the summer of 2000, Lufthansa will add Smooth/td for shippers of semi-conductors and other shock-sensitive goods. Care/td will be offered for dangerous goods.
   Lufthansa first launched its td. line of services in April 1998, promising shippers a range of time-definite services from next day to deferred deliveries.
