Rotations on revised Asia/Americas services

Rotations on revised Asia/Americas services    Rotation details have emerged about a joint service from CSAV, China Shipping, CMA CGM and Libra linking Asia and the Americas.
American Shipper reported in January that the lines would effectively merge their ANDEX (CSAV and Libra) and ACSA (China Shipping and CMA CGM) services into one two-loop service.
The merged ACSA 1/ANDEX 1 has a rotation of Hong Kong, Chiwan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Callao, Iquique, San Antonio, San Vicente, Manzanillo (Mexico), Keelung and Hong Kong, according to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data. The service will operate with 11 vessels (six from CSAV, three from CMA CGM and two currently unallocated) with an average capacity of 6,513 TEUs.
The merged ACSA 3/ANDEX 2 has a rotation of Xingang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Busan, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Quetzal, Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Puerto Quetzal, Manzanillo (Mexico), Yokohama, Busan and Xingang. The service operates with 10 vessels (four from CSAV and one from CMA CGM, with five currently unallocated) with an average capacity of 4,261 TEUs.
CMA CGM said in January it would provide three vessels on each service.
Along with the changes in rotation, the biggest change for shippers is increased capacity. The ANDEX operated with 4,200-TEU vessels on average, while the ACSA vessels averaged 2,600-TEU.
The four carriers also cooperate on an Asia/South America/Caribbean service — the PEX 2/AAE 2/JCS — with CMA CGM, China Shipping and CSAV all providing vessels. ' Eric Johnson
