U.S., Mexican customs brokers sign partnership agreement

The NCBFAA and CAAAREM will work together on government advocacy, continuing education, marketing and sharing industry best practices.    The presidents of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) and its counterpart, the Mexican Confederation of Associations of Customs Agents, on Wednesday morning signed a cooperation agreement to promote cooperation between their organizations.
   The trade associations will work together to push common trade facilitation initiatives with their respective governments, as well as share expertise on professional development for their members, promote best practices in trade and compliance, and market each organization to the other’s members.
   The agreement was signed in Tucson, Ariz., where the NCBFAA is holding its annual conference.
