EXE TECHNOLOGIES BUYS ALLPOINTS SYSTEMS

EXE TECHNOLOGIES BUYS ALLPOINTS SYSTEMS    EXE Technologies Inc., a Dallas-based provider of supply chain execution software, has announced that it will acquire AllPoints Systems Inc., an online business-to-business facilitator based in Norwood, Mass.
   The stock-for-stock transaction will be completed in the first quarter, with EXE issuing 1.6 million shares of common stock and assume options for additional 400,000 shares, in exchange for all of AllPoints’s outstanding securities.
   The merger will allow EXE to extend its “process management capabilities beyond the four walls of fulfillment centers,” as well as “to expand into new verticals,” said Ray Hood, president and chief executive officer of EXE.
