Slade has been chief operating officer of DHL Global Forwarding Japan since April 2009. He succeeds Charles Kaufmann, who will relocate to DHL Global Forwarding’s North Asia Pacific office in Hong Kong as chief operating officer North Asia Pacific.
Slade joined DHL Global Forwarding (then known as Danzas AEI) in 2002 in an air freight role in Singapore, the moved to Japan in 2007 as head of the forwarding company's air freight division.
