Oneworld members have voted Aer Lingus into the global alliance, a week
after Ireland’s flag carrier signed marketing agreements with American Airlines and
British Airways.
AA and BA anchor oneworld, which also includes Canadian Airlines, Hong
Kong-based Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Spain’s Iberia and Australia’s Qantas Airways.
Aer Lingus will begin offering oneworld services, including code-sharing and
frequent flyer miles, next year.
