TCC reduces transpacific bunker fee

TCC reduces transpacific bunker fee    The Containership Company (TCC), a startup container line that began transpacific service in April, said Friday it will reduce its bunker surcharge by $16 to $22 per container from Oct. 1.
   The new bunker surcharge rates will be:
   ' $278 per 20-foot container and $348 per 40-foot container, and $392 per 40-foot high-cube container eastbound from Asia to Los Angeles.
   ' $402 per 20-foot container and $503 per 40-foot container or 40-foot high-cube container westbound from Los Angeles to Asia.
   TCC’s Great Dragon service has a rotation of Ningbo, Taicang, Los Angeles and Ningbo. The Ningbo call was added in late August. The service is operated with five vessels with an average capacity of 2,960 TEUs, according to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
