FCBF broker classes start in FebruaryFCBF broker classes start in February Classes for aspiring customs brokers seeking a license will be offered Feb. 11-March 27 at the Miami Free Zone.
   The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association is presenting the class and providing preparation for the federal customs broker exam.
   Mike Sayers, a licensed customs broker since 1983, who has worked in Buffalo, N.Y., and Miami, and has taught at Miami-area colleges, will be the instructor for the course. Classes are Monday and Thursday nights at 6-9:30 p.m. The classes will be held in conference room 1M10 in Mall 1 of the Miami Free Zone, 2305 NW 107th Ave. in Doral.
   A certificate of completion will be presented to those who complete the full course.
   Cost is $575 for FCBF members and $690 for non-members. To register or for more information, go to www.fcbf.com.
