Mobile Container Terminal said it plans to open the $300 million facility this month, and the newspaper said Zim vessels are expected to begin calling on Oct. 2.
The terminal is an 80-20 percent joint venture between the APM Terminals unit of A.P. Moller – Maersk and the Terminal Link division of CMA CGM, respectively.
The report said the Zim ship is expected to load about 500 containers and discharge about 500 boxes.
