Jacksonville requests terminal bids    The Port of Jacksonville is requested bids for consulting and design services for the new Hanjin terminal to be located at Dames Point.
   The Florida port posted the request for a consultant to assist the port authority with “survey, geotechnical, environmental permitting, planning, engineering and architectural service.”
   The 88-acre facility will be an automated container terminal with the tenant supplying ship-to-shore cranes and rail-mounted gantry cranes.
   In a notice posted on its Web site Monday, the port said statements of qualification are due Aug. 21, it will rank consultants in November and expect its board to approve the contract by January.
   The $300 million Hanjin Container Terminal at Dames Point is expected to open for business by summer 2013.
