“The renaming of the agency is part of an ongoing policy aimed at promoting the Zim brand name worldwide,” the Israeli ocean carrier said.
Zim Kenya’s head office is located in Mombassa, with a branch in Nairobi. The East African regional office in Mombassa is in charge of Zim shipping activities in Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania.
Zim said it has already renamed three European agencies — Zim Hamburg, Zim Antwerp and Zim Rotterdam — and expects to name its Zim Tanzania agency in the near future.
