GAC’s Shanghai office awarded A-Class forwarding license

GACÆs Shanghai office awarded A-Class forwarding license Dubai-based GAC Group's representative office in Shanghai has been awarded an A-Class forwarding license by China's Ministry of Commerce.
   The office will now operate as a wholly owned foreign enterprise under the company name GAC Forwarding & Shipping (Shanghai) Ltd.
   'With this license in place, we will be able to market our extended range of logistics services directly to customers and trade in the Renminbi currency,' said Christer Sj'doff, GAC's regional director for Asia Pacific and Indian Subcontinent.
   'The Shanghai office will also serve as a key communication and coordination center for all GAC business operations throughout Northern and Central China.'
   GAC will open offices in Xiamen, Beijing and Shenzhen within the next month, Sj'doff added.
