The location includes a 12,000-square-meter building, a 23,870-square-meter empty container depot with storage capacity for 3,000 TEUs, and a vehicle yard.
Yusen said the Hai Phong in recent years has seen an increase in Japanese corporations involved in electronics, electrical products, automobiles and chemicals manufacturing.
Yusen’s new warehouse is located adjacent to Hai Phong Port.
The Japanese freight forwarder started its Vietnam operations in 2004.
