KCS works to revive Mexican rail deal    Kansas City Southern confirmed Monday it has invoked dispute resolution mechanisms in its agreement with Mexican transportation and logistics consortium to buy full control of Mexican railroad TFM.
   In August, Grupo TMM pulled out of the deal that would have combined the Kansas City Southern Railway Co. with TFM in a new company to be called Nafta Rail designed to give shippers an end-to-end rail solution in the Nafta corridor.
   Immediately after Grupo TMM shareholders rejected the sale KCS said it would use all its rights under the agreement to force Grupo TMM to go through with the acquisition.
   KCS said officials from both companies met Sept. 11 to try and stitch a merger back together. KCS intends to go to binding arbitration if the 60-day negotiation period fails to achieve its goal.
