FCBF offering workshop on preparing L/Cs The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association will offer a workshop on 'The ABC of Letters of Credit,' Sept. 24 in Miami.
   The program targets freight forwarders, exporters, importers, traffic managers and companies' document preparation staffers. The workshop will cover subjects that include basic step-by-step preparation of a letter of credit, as well as advanced topics such as structuring terms and proper preparation of L/Cs to remain in compliance with the 2007 revision of the UCP600 under International Standard Banking Practice guidelines.
   The workshop will be conducted by Grace Davila-Perez of U.S. Century Bank.
   The class will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1M10 at the Miami Free Zone, 2305 N.W. 107th Ave. in Doral. Cost is $45 for FCBF members and $65 for non-members.
