The new Vietfracht subsidiary, MOL Vietnam Shipping Agency Co., has an office in Ho Chi Minh City and is supervised by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (Asia) Ltd.
The new agency company has 60 employees.
The Japanese shipping line said that the establishment of an agency in Vietnam solely representing the company is “a significant move towards MOL’s eventual goal of having its own subsidiary in Vietnam.”
