LEVI STRAUSS PICKS TIBBETT & BRITTEN AS EUROPEAN 4PL    Levi Strauss & Co, maker of Levis and Dockers brands of casual wear, has contracted with Tibbett & Britten, a logistics service provider based in the United Kingdom, to provide fourth-party logistics solutions for inbound transportation'to Levi Strauss’s factories and distribution centers across western and central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
   Tibbett & Britten will use its distribution center in Nieuwegein, near Utrecht in the Netherlands, as a central service hub for Levi Strauss products.
   The logistics provider will coordinate and manage all'shipments between plants and finishing centers, as well as'the transport of raw materials into European factories owned by Levi Strauss.
   The Tibbett & Britten Group also announced on Monday the appointment of Wolf Schrempf to the newly created position of European transport controller. Schrempf was director of operations for Tibbett & Britten in Toronto, Canada. His new company base will be Brussels.
