BDP said JE Bernard and Co. Ltd., its partner in the U.K. for 14 years, was acquired earlier this year by the French firm SDV International Logistics.
Established in 1986, Genesis is one of the U.K.'s largest independent freight forwarders. The company's services include import/export air and ocean freight, European road freight, customs brokerage and logistics. In addition to its Eastbourne headquarters, Genesis has four other U.K. locations, five U.S. offices and two China offices, plus offices in Ireland, Singapore, Taiwan and Dubai.
