AIR CARGO CONTINUES DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH IN ASIA-PACIFIC    While air cargo volumes grew worldwide, Asia-Pacific recorded the sharpest increase, 17.2 percent to 1.44 million metric tons, in November, according to the Airports Council International.
   Worldwide tonnage rose 9.7 percent to 5.36 million metric tons in November, ACI said. North American volumes rose 8.1 percent to 2.44 million tons. In other regions, Europe tonnage increased 6.7 percent to 1.06 million tons, Mideast rose 4.4 percent to 198,968 tons, Latin America-Caribbean rose 2.8 percent to 142,249 tons, and Africa rose 1.4 percent to 75,979 metric tons, ACI said.
   Hong Kong surpassed Memphis as the leading cargo airport in November, as volumes increased 28.5 percent to 205,240 metric tons. Memphis, home to FedEx's super hub, saw its volumes rise 5.7 percent to 197,910 tons. Los Angeles was next with 181,680 tons, up 13.2 percent, followed by Tokyo's Narita, up 13.7 percent to 170,279 tons.
