BORDER TRADE ALLIANCE HOSTS TRADE CONFERENCE OCT. 2-5    The Border Trade Alliance will host a four-day seminar, “Enhancing Safe & Efficient Trade Conference,” Oct. 2-5, at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort in San Diego, Calif.
   The conference'includes seminars examining cross-border security and trade issues affecting businesses in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Topics of discussion include: cargo security, the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT),'agency realignment and the proposed Department of Homeland Security, and the economic impact of water and energy availability.
