Lineage Logistics partners with BluJay Solutions

The partnership has designated Lineage Logistics as the exclusive third-party logistics provider to manage customers’ food and beverage supply chains using BluJay’s transportation management solution.    Lineage Logistics, LLC, a temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics company, entered into a partnership with BluJay Solutions, formerly Kewill, designating Lineage Logistics as the exclusive third-party logistics provider to manage customers’ food and beverage supply chains using BluJay’s transportation management solution (TMS), formerly LeanTMS.
   Kewill, rebranded itself as BluJay Solutions earlier this month in the wake of its $115 million acquisition of LeanLogistics in 2016.
   The partnership between Lineage Logistics and BluJay allows customers in the food and beverage industry to outsource the management of their transportation network by leveraging BluJay’s TMS with Lineage Logistics’ network of facilities that spans over 100 locations throughout North America with 609 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled capacity, the companies said in a joint press release.
   In addition, Lineage will work to transition all of its current customers from existing transportation platforms to BluJay’s TMS.
  “Never before has a customer had the opportunity to leverage one of the nation’s largest facility networks with leading technology and a $12 billion transportation spend to maximize performance and realize dramatic cost savings,” Lineage Logistics President and CEO Greg Lehmkuhl said.
