QuestaWeb FTZ customer base doubles in 2013

   The Web-based global trade management solutions provider QuestaWeb said this week its foreign trade zone division doubled its customer base in 2013.
   The division, founded in 2009 to meet the specialized compliance needs of companies employing FTZs, now counts firms in the automotive, electronics, manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceutical, biotech and wholesale distribution industries among its customers.
   QuestaWeb said response to the December 2009 release of its FTZQW module spurred creation of its FTZ Division.
   “Our goal is to help companies achieve the cost efficiencies FTZs confer with utmost confidence that they are complying with all federal rules and regulations,” said Wayne Slossberg, senior vice president of QuestaWeb, in a statement. “We find that each company’s requirements vary, but our FTZ staff prides themselves in their ability to meet these unique needs with our technology.” – Eric Johnson
