Bruffett was senior director-financial planning and analysis for Yellow Freight System. He joined Yellow in 1998 as director-strategic analysis. Prior to Yellow, he served as director of finance for American Freightways Corp. from 1992 to 1998.
He reports to Bert Trucksess, chief financial officer, Yellow Corp. and president, regional carrier group.
