FMC reviews 15 OTI applications, revokes 10 licenses    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 15 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from MTM International Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Mariano Ibanez Perez, manager); Jamteck Int’l Shipping, Bronx, N.Y. (Angela Banett Walker, president); Sun Fine Systems, El Monte, Calif. (David Sun, chief executive officer); Inter-Connect Transportation, Inglewood, Calif. (Hew Hwon Kim, president); Sosua Shipping, New York (Juan Luis Sanchez, president); and International Shipping Express, South Gate, Calif. (Gilbert Espinoza, president).
   The FMC received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Sea Global Logistics, Carson, Calif. (Jeff Yang, president); Global Freight, Roselle, Ill. (Sebastiano Uzielli De Mari, president); Global Logistics Services, Miami (Edward J. Boroski, president); and MK Freight Forwarding, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Moshe Krause, president).
   The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Continental Shipping Group, Irvington, N.J. (Zdzislaw Lesniewski, president); Shipping Services Italia, New York (Alessandra Fremura, CEO); USA Express Moving & Storage, Bristol, Pa. (Yuval Rosenzweig, president); OOCL Logistics (USA), New York (Joseph P. Hogan, president); and Global Services of Nevada, Henderson, Nev. (Tina A. Immormino, president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
   The FMC revoked 10 OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms include Accel Transport Co., Long Beach, Calif.; California Export Line, Irvine, Calif.; Cargomar USA, Norfolk, Va.; Centrum Overseas Transport, Fort Worth, Texas; Continental Logistic Service, Los Angeles; East West North South Forwarding, Miami; George Mario Luna, Howell, N.J.; La Costa Logistics Services, Carlsbad, Calif.; Robert A. Carranza, Los Angeles; and Xima Freight Services, Miami.
