TPG LAUNCHES E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS SERVICES    TNT Post Group, the Dutch logistics, express and mail conglomerate, has launched a suite of logistics and software services targeting electronic commerce businesses in Europe.
   Under the name @TNT, TPG said it is piloting a demand chain management system with select e-commerce customers in the automotive, electronics and pharmaceuticals industries. The company plans a commercial roll-out later this year.
   TPG said it wants to leverage its international office network to provide e-commerce companies a single source for logistics services, including order management, payment processing, warehousing, delivery, returns, repairs and customer service.
   TPG said it has developed with partners an “intelligent order processing and sourcing system, enabling it to orchestrate and execute domestic, cross-border and global e-fulfillment orders.”
   Barriers to e-commerce in Europe, such as transportation and labor regulations, low personal computer usage and high connection costs, are being lowered and removed, the company said.
