The Gatwick, U.K.-based shipping group has recruited David Auger, a former senior financial executive with ICI and Invensys who also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, as its group financial controller.
Tod Sizemore has joined CP Ships as vice president, finance, for the Americas and Asia, based in Tampa, Fla. He will report to Auger. Sizemore was vice president of finance for a pallet and container pooling firm. He succeeds Julie Harte, who has assumed the new role of vice president of finance systems implementation.
CP Ships has also created the positions of vice president of business control and vice president of taxation.
David Nicklin, already with CP Ships, has been named vice president of business control to oversee internal financial reporting controls across the group, including continuing maintenance of the new SAP financial accounting processes. He will head a task force established to review and strengthen financial controls and related business processes.
Sarita Sood has joined CP Ships as vice president of taxation. Her previous experience was with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG and more recently, with pharmaceutical companies.
Ian Webber remains chief financial officer of CP Ships.
