ôHoggedö tanker not disrupting Suez Canal    A product tanker that was severely damaged in an accident at Port Suez near the southern end of the Suez Canal has not disrupted the normal flow of traffic through the canal.
   But salvors are seeking to move the 1986-built Elli from a deepwater anchorage to shallower water so that if the ship does sink, it will be easier to recover the vessel.
   Martin Hall, an attorney at the Piraeus office of Clyde & Co., which represents both the owners and the American Club, the ship’s protection and indemnity insurer, said the vessel became “severely hogged” while waiting to be dry docked, but has not broken in half as some press reports have said.
   The tanker was empty at the time of the accident, carrying only its own fuel.
