CMA CGM raises rates

CMA CGM raises rates    French container line CMA CGM on Tuesday said it will raise rates on a number of trades beginning April 1:
   ' From Europe to India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, $100 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container, with an overweight surcharge of $150 per 20-foot container.
   ' From Europe to the Indian Ocean Islands (La R'union, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Comoros), $250 per TEU for all container types.
   ' From all origins (excluding Europe) to the Indian Ocean Islands (La R'union, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Comoros), $350 per TEU for all container types.
   ' From the East Coast of South America to all destinations, $250 per TEU for reefer containers.
   ' From the U.S. East, Gulf and West coasts to the West Med, East Med, the Adriatic, the Black Sea and North Africa, $150 per 20-foot container and $250 per 40-foot container.
   ' From the U.S. East, Gulf and West coasts to Northern Europe, the Baltic, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom and Ireland, $200 per 20-foot container and $300 per 40-footer.
   ' From Northern Europe to the U.S. East and Gulf coasts, $200 per 20-foot container and $300 per 40-footer.
   ' From Halifax to Cuba, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, $150 per 20-foot container and $250 per 40-footer.
   ' From Halifax port in Canada to all Caribbean and Latin America ports, $150 per 20-foot container and $250 per 40-foot container (for dry and reefers).
   ' From New York, Savannah and Houston to all Caribbean and Latin America ports, $100 per 20-foot dry or reefer container and $200 per 40-foot dry, high-cube or reefer container.
