Novo forms new company based in Reno

Novo forms new company based in Reno Novo Express International, a San Francisco-based logistics company, has formed a new company called Novo Customs and Logistics that will be based in Reno, Nevada.
   Novo Express was founded in 1988 and said it has been involved in the high-tech business and logistics distribution due to its proximity to Silicon Valley. The Reno office will specialize in regulatory and compliance issues related to the import and export of “closely regulated products and commodities.”
   Joining the company are Jim Ijams and Robin K. Flaherty, formerly with Vantage Point Services. Flaherty will be vice president of imports and corporate broker for Novo Customs and Logistics.
   Novo Express is a member of the China Global Logistics Network, and serves 11 states: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
