SEKO picks GT Nexus to automate logistics

   GT Nexus said it had been selected by SEKO Logistics to provide a cloud-based platform to better automate processes between SEKO and its global carrier network.
   SEKO is a third-party logistics services provider with 150 offices in 40 countries. Bill Wascher, the company’s chief executive officer, said “We believe cloud represents the future of business-to-business technology and selected GT Nexus to help us get there.”
   The system from GT Nexus will support transactions for freight movement, documentation and shipment tracking, as well as help SEKO eliminate documentation fees and reduce customer inventory.
   The companies said the platform from GT Nexus will send electronic information between SEKO and its partners, creating a single set of data that all of the parties can work with.
