DHL Express launches noon delivery service

DHL Express launches noon delivery service DHL Express on Wednesday launched a new time-definite product for Middle East imports from Europe and Asia that ensures inbound delivery by noon.
   DHL Import Express 12:00 is targeted at 'vital deliveries from major cities, towns and business centers, with transportation charges met by the receiver,' the company said.
   Initially available from major centers in Europe and Asia to the Middle East, the product will be rolled out globally throughout the year and offers a full money-back guarantee in the event of a late delivery.
   'Our customers from across all industries have asked for more flexibility to enable them to improve their transport efficiency,' said Roland Thomas, DHL Express' global vice president product development.
   DHL Express said delivery on normal import service is generally by 6 p.m. and that it also plans to introduce a 9 a.m. delivery product in selected markets.
