Carriers launch two North Europe feeder loops

Ocean carriers COSCO and Yang Ming joined forces to launch two feeder loops in North Europe.    Ocean carriers COSCO and Yang Ming will launch two joint North Europe feeder loops at the beginning of July, the PLX1/IE2 and SNX1/IE6.
   The PLX1/IE2 will commence July 7 from Hamburg with the rotation of Hamburg, Gdynia, Klaipeda and Hamburg, COSCO said in a statement. The PLX1/IE2 will operate with one 1,036-TEU vessel, the Nordic Hamburg, operated by Yang Ming, according to the carriers’ online service schedules.
   The SNX1/IE6 will commence July 5 from Rotterdam with the rotation of Rotterdam, Oslo, Gothenburg and Rotterdam. The SNX1/IE6 will operate with one, 1,025-TEU vessel, the Condor.
   A spokesperson from COSCO said China Shipping Container Lines will also participate on these feeder services.
