BOLERO.NET SIGNS COSCO GROUP

BOLERO.NET SIGNS COSCO GROUP    Bolero.net, the Internet-based trade transactions system provider, said Thursday that is has signed China Ocean Shipping (Group) Co. to its system.
   COSCO, the Chinese ocean carrier, joins Evergreen and “K” Line as recent subscribers to bolero.net, which provides a global trading platform for importers, exporters, shipping organizations and financial institutions.
   COSCO Group owns and operates nearly 500 ships of about 17 million tons deadweight. The group has more than 110 containerships with a capacity of 198,000 TEUs and more than 200 dry bulk carriers with more than 11 million dwt capacity. The group also operates tankers, LPG carriers, refrigerated cargo ships, timber carriers and passenger cargo ferries, serving more than 1,200 ports in more than 150 countries and regions.
