ITC TO STUDY ECONOMIC IMPACT OF U.S.-SINGAPORE FREE TRADE AGREEMENT       The U.S. International Trade Commission has started a study to review the impact of a U.S. free trade agreement with Singapore.
   The study, which was requested by the U.S. Trade Representative, will offer a description of the Singapore economy, and the country’s trade patterns with the United States and other countries.
   The ITC will also review the potential impact of the agreement on specific product sectors of the trade and economic effects of the elimination of barriers to trade in services. In addition, intellectual property rights and foreign direct investments will be addressed.
   The agency will submit the finished study to the USTR by Jan. 12.
