The National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America said Friday it has filed an amicus brief in the Court of International Trade contesting Customs and Border Protection’s authority to revoke a customs broker’s entry filer code without affording the broker due process.

The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America is asking Congress to maintain full funding for U.S. Customs' Automated Commercial Environment after the Obama administration proposed in its 2010 fiscal year budget to cut planned funding for the massive computer development program by $49 million.
