Court: Man smuggled guns to battle pirates    A former U.S. Marine now living in England was charged in federal court in Raleigh, N.C., on July 29 with smuggling 70 firearms over five months to supply employees of his maritime security company, Jolie Rouge Group, which allegedly was engaged in defending private vessels from pirate attacks, according to local newspaper accounts.
   Federal law enforcement officials said they apprehended Steven Greenhoe at Raleigh-Durham International Airport with 16 firearms that had been taken apart. They said he bought multiple guns at once with a concealed carry license he obtained in the state, which he would then put in his checked luggage on return trips to England.
   Greenhoe never declared the weapons or obtained the required export licenses.
