Transplace appoints 2 VPs of sales

Transplace appoints 2 VPs of sales    Transplace, a provider of transportation management services and logistics technology, has appointed Chris Lange and Bill Vitti as vice presidents of sales.
   Lange joins Transplace with more than 20 years of industry experience. He was global managing partner for the Supply Chain Practice in the Resources Operating Group at Accenture. Lange was also managing partner of Consulting Services at Percite, a boutique supply chain consulting firm. Other positions include senior vice president of sales for Qiva; executive vice president of Commerx; partner in Accenture's Strategic Services Logistics/Supply Chain Strategy Practice; and president and chief executive officer of Lange Enterprises.
   Vitti brings 17 years of supply chain experience to Transplace. Most recently, he was the senior vice president of sales and marketing for ALX Pallet Systems; vice president of business development for Swift Transportation; director of national accounts for CHEP; and director of marketing for Tenneco Automotive.
