CEVA names Riordan North American managing director

CEVA names Riordan North American managing director    CEVA Logistics has appointed Jerry Riordan as managing director of it North American unit.
   Riordan was for the last five years president of Denver-based Budget Truck Rentals. Previously, he was chief executive officer of United Road Services and before that spent 25 years with Miami-based Ryder TRS, eventually becoming president and chief operating officer.
   At CEVA Logistics North America, he takes over from Jeff Hurley who has taken on new responsibilities at the worldwide level as senior vice president of the global automotive sector.
   CEVA, owned by affiliates of leading private equity investors Apollo Management, is registered in the United Kingdom and has operational headquarters in the Netherlands and Jacksonville, Fla.
