Peru ambassador speaking in West Palm Beach

Peru ambassador speaking in West Palm Beach    U.S. Ambassador to Peru Michael McKinley will be the speaker at a luncheon Thursday, sponsored by the World Trade Center Palm Beach and the Business Council for International Understanding.
   McKinley's presentation 'From the U.S. to Peru, Free Trade Agreements and Business Opportunities: an Ambassador's Perspective,' will be at noon to 2 p.m. at the West Palm Beach Marriott, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach. Cost is $25.
   McKinley, who is on a tour through Florida arranged by the BCIU, has been in the U.S. Foreign Service since 1982. He has a diverse international background. He was born in Venezuela and grew up in Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the United States. In addition to his diplomatic work, he wrote a book on the history of colonial Venezuela that was published in English and Spanish by the Cambridge University Press in the United Kingdom.
