DHL adds to aftermarket services

   DHL Supply Chain has beefed up its aftermarket offerings, inking partnerships with Anovo, Computer Technology Solutions and SMS Infocomm, as DHL strives to take more of the $19 billion aftermarket industry.
   In its Technical Services offering, DHL Supply Chain provides repairing, re-boxing, receiving, re-selling and assessing on all accounts. DHL said adding repair servies to its return offering saves customers 25 percent off their total costs.
   “In a competitive marketplace, aftermarket service reputation is a major differentiator. These improvements to the scale and scope of our fully-managed, end-to-end solution will ensure our customers can respond faster, resolve issues, maximize value and improve satisfaction for their end customers,” Dan Ellerton, DHL Supply Chain’s chief development officer, said in a statement.
