ANL, Royal Burger Group establish agencies in Germany, Netherlands The Dutch Koninklijke Burger Groep B.V. (Royal Burger Group) and ANL Singapore Pte. Ltd., part of CMA CGM-owned ANL Container Line, have established joint venture agency companies in Germany and the Netherlands.
   ANL Germany and ANL Netherlands will undertake the liner agency representation functions of ANL in those countries from early 2007, replacing it's current agents, M'ller Liner Agencies, a wholly owned liner agency company of the Royal Burger Group.
   'The initiative represents a further commitment by ANL to its German and Dutch customers and more broadly to all of our customers in the northern hemisphere markets in which we now operate. It also reflects our continued growth in the East/West trades since entering these businesses in 2002, and particularly our growing presence in the Asia/Europe and the transatlantic trades,' said John Lines, ANL’s chairman.
