APL LOGISTICS FORMS ALLIANCES IN CHINA    In a move to extend their logistics network into inland China, APL Logistics has formed agreements with two of China's road and rail companies.
   These agreements include the foundations for working with relationships with Eastern China Railway Express ‘ECRE’ and Shenyang Transportation Group ‘STG’.
   ECRE will provide APL Logistics with priority arrangements, the use of warehouse storage facilities and assistance to grow its inland operations. APL will provide installation and support of its supply chain visibility tools, enabling ECRE to provide global presence to its China-based customers.
   APL and STG are discussing integration of domestic transportation with APL's global capabilities. This would include sharing services such as trucking, international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing and logistics consulting.
