Lynden to use CargoWise in Belgium

   The Alaska-based logistics company Lydnen has implemented a hosted version of CargoWise’s ediEnterprise product at its Belgium office.
   Lynden Director of International Operations Philip Maxon said ediEnterprise will allow the company to integrate with European customs system on a per-user basis, with quick implementation times. In addition to the United States and Belgium, Lynden has operations in Canada, Mexico, and Russia.
   “The hosted model is very attractive because it gives us the opportunity to rapidly expand our offices if the opportunity arises,” Maxon said. “Our own system works very well in the U.S., but we needed a system that we could get up and running very quickly, that would work in Belgium.”
